Reports on the imminent launch of Google Drive are mounting. The Next Web claims the service will launch next week, and a Google Drive OS X app has been spotted in the wild. The service will likely offer 5 GB of free storage to all users.

Microsoft Announces Windows 8 Editions

Microsoft has officially announced the name for the next iteration of Windows - Windows 8. It will come in three main editions: Windows 8 is aimed at most consumers, and Windows 8 Pro is meant for businesses, developers and “tech enthusiasts.” Finally, there's the Windows 8 RT, the ARM CPU-based version which we'll see on most tablets.

Hulu Plus Now Has Over 2 Million Subscribers

Hulu now has more than 2 million subscribers for its Hulu Plus service - half a million more than at the end of 2011, the New York Time reports. The company expects Hulu Plus to bring more than half of its total revenue in 2012.
