Selecting one's BFF is a complicated process.

The person should complement you, not outshine you. You should share common interests, but stand out as individuals. And, perhaps most importantly, you should photograph well together.

Photographer and lifestyle blogger Lindsey Bonnice proved herself as a skilled matchmaker when she adopted Pearl the teacup pig and introduced her to her 2-year-old daughter Libby.

The pair lives harmoniously in a fluffy pink world of cuddles, playtime and tea parties (a favorite activity of teacup pigs).

The duo might soon expand to become an impossibly cute gang -- Elsa, the fluffy orange cat, is becoming something of a third Musketeer. And some dogs, another cat, a tortoise and lambs provide plenty of other opportunities for Pearl to form exceptionally adorable friendships.

Pearl is a teacup pig, so she isn’t expected to grow to more than 30 pounds, but the family lives on more than 300 acres of land -- so she has more than enough room.
