The Secret Service has confirmed that the perimeter of the White House was adorably breached Thursday evening -- by the tiniest interloper in presidential history.

A toddler, name unknown, eluded his parents, squeezed through a fence and arrived in a secure area of the White House lawn at around 8pm ET before being rounded up by Secret Service agents.

"We were going to wait until he learned to talk to question him," Secret Service spokesman Edwin Donovan told reporters. "But in lieu of that he got a timeout and was sent on way with parents."

This guard, at least, was not impressed:

The White House has seen many breaches of security in its time -- most notably in September 1994, when a truck driver and airplane mechanic crashed a stolen Cessna 150 on the South Lawn.
