Whoever thought the staple was meant to start and end in the bathroom certainly has not seen these gorgeous wedding dresses.

Ten finalists were tasked at designing wedding dresses made out of toilet paper for the 11th annual Cheap Chic Weddings Toilet Paper Wedding Dress Contest sponsored by Charmin.

Statistically speaking, the average woman spends $1,281 on her wedding dress, according to the most recent survey on The Knot. The competition proves that you might not need to spend an outrageous amount on what to wear on your special day.

The contestants were only allowed to use four everyday materials: Toilet paper, super glue, tape, and a needle and thread. Designs ranged from flower bodices to removable skirts. With these intricate details, you would have had no idea the dresses were made out of toilet paper.

The gowns will be featured during a finale fashion show at Kleinfeld Bridal Boutique on June 17. Not only will the winner receives $10,000, but their design will inspire a ready-to-wear dress that will be created by Kleinfeld Bridal.
