So you think you had fun on Halloween? Think again. Tokyo just might have you beat.

Although the spooky day of costumes and trick-or-treating has Western roots, in recent years Halloween has become a popular day in Japan, with thousands taking to the streets in some of the most ingenious costumes you'll ever see. From armies of Batwomen and Supergirls, to walking LED men, to unicorns and even YouTube memes, Japan has seriously raised the level of its Halloween game.

This year, the Shibuya Costume Street Party, located in one of the busiest parts of Tokyo, played host a wide array of freaks, goblins, clowns and superheroes, and it was all captured (see video above) by fashion blog Tokyo Fashion.
