In 2012, Seth McFarlane brought his raunchy Family Guy style of humor to real life with Ted. The movie was a hit and McFarlane assumed that the world had finally accepted his potential outside of the animation room. Then A Million Ways to Die in The West came out and he realized that maybe his life outside of the animation room would best be held to voicing teddy bears.
