We typically see modern spins on old devices, but fashion designer Tom Ford took the Apple Watch in the opposite direction by turning the new smartwatch into an old-timey pocket watch.
The customized pocket watch made an appearance at the London Collections Men fashion show, where Tom Ford was showing off his new Spring 2016 collection.
New York Times styles reporter Michael Schneier spotted the unqiue Apple Watch and tweeted an image of it:

Instagram user TheChicGeek also posted a photo of Ford's device, albeit in its power savings mode:
Maybe in reference to its clunkiness, Tom Ford has turned the #applewatch into a pocket watch. @tomford #SS16 #LCM #menswear A photo posted by TheChicGeek (@thechicgeekcouk) on Jun 15, 2015 at 7:43am PDT
The pocket watch-styled Apple Watch looks classy, but the chain renders the heart rate sensor useless; it needs to be in contact with your skin in order to work. Keeping the Apple Watch in your pocket also automatically locks it and disables Apple Pay until you put it on your wrist or enter a passcode.
Clearly, Ford's custom Apple Watch is more form than function.
