In case you're not familiar with our round up of the most popular web shows, each month we look to our partner, Visible Measures, to help us compile a top 10 list that highlights the made-for-web shows with the highest grossing view count across the entire series.

We've seen the high-pitched YouTube sensation Fred dominate and falter, CollegeHumor invade the chart, and adult animation rise to the top. This time around, a former leader reclaims the throne, a new entrant takes over the number four spot, and a fan favorite clings to the very last spot.

Cavalcade of Cartoon Comedy is a 50 episode series that happens to be sponsored by Burger King and co-produced by Google.

The series is now more than a year old, but that hasn't stopped it from accruing 3.2 million+ views, enough to secure 7th place. We're not surprised though, as even with the Burger King sponsorship, Cavalcade of Cartoon Comedy has the same comedic flair as MacFarlane's more mainstream work.

Elevator, which is also a newcomer to the chart this month, performed astonishingly well in November, raking in more than 9 million views for the month. The action of each episode of the series, now in its third season, takes place in an elevator where strange antics typically ensue. According to Visible Measures, the surge in viewership for the month might be attributable to aggressive promotion, as a single episode appears to be responsible for a majority of the views.

Gamer Fatigue

Even though Red Vs Blue has made frequent appearances on our top webisode chart, this month they've dropped off completely. Still hanging on by a thread is fellow gamer-friendly show, The Guild. The show saw a 44% decrease in views and barely managed to hold on to the 10th spot with just 2.7 million total views.

But don't fret, gamers. As you're probably aware, The Guild concluded their second season at the end of October, so it's only natural that viewership has dropped off. We expect to see the WoW-inspired hit bounce back to a high spot as soon as new episodes start airing.

Holiday Slump?

While the combined views for all shows that made the cut is well above 76 million, that number pales in comparison to the 93 million views that were tabulated in September. Since the data from month to month demonstrates that fresh content relates to more series views, we can only surmise that the absence of fresh and continual content is preventing shows from besting view counts from earlier in the year.

We'll check in next month and report on our findings.
