In a city famously known for good weather, the arrival of a small tornado can really freak people out.

In the video above, a man in South Los Angeles throws out many an F-bomb--which were subsequently bleeped out--as a small tornado whips through his neighborhood, prompting power outages, fallen trees and a flurry of roof shingles and leaves.

"I've seen the movie Twister. It was crazy. I've never seen nothing like that," Jamie Mena, who shot the video Friday morning, told ABC 7.

The tornado, which encompassed more than a mile, featured 65 miles per hour to 85 miles per hour winds, according to the National Weather Service in Los Angeles.

"Look what that shit did to our neighborhood," Mena says on the video as he surveys the damage.

The tornado was one of many noteworthy events to pass through the Southland Friday as the "Pineapple Express" storm that struck Northern California Thursday traveled south. Mud flows trapped people in their homes in Camarillo Springs, flooding was rampant and a waterspout was spotted along the coast of Newport Beach.
