The iPhone emerged as the clear winner. The conclusion being that the touchscreen gives a more accurate representation of finger path for the majority of the screen. When it comes to recognizing touch around the edges of the phone, however, the Nexus One outperformed the rest of the competition.

The test involved a basic drawing program and the use of a single finger to slowly draw straight lines diagonally on the screen, which means anyone can repeat the test on his own device. Ultimately, the quality of the touchscreen was determined by analyzing how straight the lines appear across the entire screen, including the edges.
