Kids' retailer Toys R Us has launched an online video streaming service called ToysRUsMovies.com.

As of Thursday, parents and children can stream family-friendly films and television shows online. The service, which is only available in the United States, will reportedly work with PCs and Macs, among other devices.

ToysRUsMovies.com requires no subscription fee; content is streamed or purchased on-demand. Movies start at $2.99 for a 24-hour rental, and $5.99 for a licensed download or stream. TV shows typically cost $1.99.
