One man is testing how far sneakerheads are willing to go for a pair of Kanye West’s sold-out black Yeezy’s.

Matt Neal, a 26-year-old Michigan resident with 2 failing kidneys, has offered to trade his pair of Kanye West Adidas Yeezy Boost 350s for a kidney to emphasize that “trading your kidneys” is actually a very serious statement -- especially for people with serious medical issues.

He posted the offer on his Facebook and to sneaker group “What did you wear today” with the caption “People are always joking that they would give a kidney for a pair of yeezy's!! Well here's your chance, I'm 26 with 2 failing kidneys. Blood type: B+."

Neal realizes that selling organs is illegal, so he clarified by saying that “people in the sneaker community always say they'll trade a pair of yeezy's and I was making this post to show people it's more serious than that.”

Neal, who is on dialysis and says that Michigan has a 5-to-7 year wait for kidney transplants, has received an outpouring of messages with some even offering their kidneys expecting nothing in return.

Those that aren't willing to give up a kidney can spend up to $4,000 on a pair on eBay.
