Sorry, Transparent fans: You'll have to wait just a little longer to reunite with the Pfefferman crew.

Amazon has moved back the Season 2 of Transparent by one week to Dec. 11, one week later than initially announced.

The good news? We've got a teaser for Season 2 -- and we can also report that the season's first two episodes are well worth the wait.

Both were screened Monday night in Los Angeles, at an event celebrating the Emmy and Golden Globe-winning series' return; each episode received rave reviews. The opening scene of the season, which takes place at a wedding and is teased in the new trailer above, was a particular crowd pleaser.

Jeffrey Tambor, Jay Duplass, creator Jill Solloway, Kathryn Hahn and other members of the cast were on hand for the bash, as was Mashable.

"We decided to just really allow the accolades to smother us ... We felt loved, so we just went for it," Solloway said of going into Season 2. "We kind of lost our minds and swung for the way outest of ethers and I think we came up with a season that's deeper, and more beautiful and more meaningful than Season 1."

As Amazon announced Tuesday, the new batch of episodes will also feature guest turns from Anjelica Huston and Cherry Jones, as well as actors including Kathryn Hahn, Carrie Brownstein and Tig Notaro.
