Transparent Season 2 may not be hitting Amazon Prime until December, but you'll get a chance to experience the show's premiere on Monday night.

Mashable will be exclusively live streaming the Transparent Season 2 red carpet on Periscope, starting at 6:30 p.m PT/9:30 p.m. ET.

Executive producer Jill Soloway, star Jeffrey Tambor, Jay Duplass and many others will all attend the event in Los Angeles.

As it jumps into its sophomore season, the series is riding a strong wave of critical acclaim and awards, including two Golden Globes and five Emmys.

Soloway previously teased that Season 2 will be one of "consequences," particularly for the Phefferman children.

"They are going to start to face consequences, and start to face the results of some of their actions," she said back in August.

There will also be a "historical story" that traces Maura's legacy, going all the way back to Europe in the '30s. Another storyline will see Ali, Sarah and Maura attend a women's music festival, where radical feminists and trans women clash. Expect to see guest stars like Cherry Jones and Anjelica Huston as well.
