We asked Mashable readers to tweet their most innovative ideas for creating a better travel experience as part of our British Airways #CurioCity contest, and we were flooded with great submissions. Your ideas ranged from location-based push notifications to mobile-linked biometric passports.

We'd like to congratulate our lucky winners, who will be flying roundtrip from London to Austin this week courtesy of British Airways. Winners join innovators and entrepreneurs from around the globe in Austin for Austin Startup Week. In addition to attending the Austin City Limits Music Festival, our winners will also receive:

5 days and 4 nights in a luxury hotel in downtown Austin.

Participation in the guided ATX Startup Crawl.

The opportunity to visit Austin's most innovative companies in 3D printing, food and beverage, transportation and more.

Exclusive dining opportunities with members of the Austin tech scene.

An exclusive invitation to a joint party hosted by Mashable and British Airways on October 10.

Full immersion into Austin's vibrant culture with complimentary meals at top restaurants, live music performances and a taste of the Austin startup life.

Here are the winning tweets:
