Trevor Noah's first guest on the Daily Show is a nod to the comedy crowd.

Kevin Hart will appear on Noah's inaugural episode, which airs on Comedy Central Sept. 28. Ryan Adams, who recently covered Taylor Swift's entire 1989 album, will be the show's first musical guest on Oct. 1.

Other guests in the first week will include Whitney Wolfe -- the founder and CEO of Bumble -- on Sept. 29, and Republican presidential candidate Chris Christie on Sept. 30.

Noah has previously discussed his excitement about bringing on political guests leading up to the presidential election.

""I'd love to have [Donald Trump] on," he said. "I'd like to know if he's being 100% serious."

He also addressed the difference between himself and previous host Jon Stewart.

"Jon has 16 years of experience ... he's gotten there because he worked hard at it," he said. "I hope to have the time to get to that."
