TripIt has raised a round of funding, to the amount of $5.1 million, from Sabre Holdings, O’Reilly AlphaTech Ventures and European Founders Fund. This is the company's second round of funding, giving TripIt ample opportunity to continue to grow. With several updates to its service over the past few months, TripIt has worked to combine the real life aspects of trip-panning with web-based and mobile organizational and social networking tools to make your job easier.
