Ouch.
We're not sure which hurts more. Slamming against the ground time and time again after strangers absolutely refuse to catch you when you try to gracefully fall into their arms. Or your ego after you realize you look just insane enough that no one minds watching you fall.
Either way, your mom was right -- don't trust strangers.

And especially don't ask them to decide between catching you and catching a ball, because they will catch neither and then kick you with the ball after you've fallen (which actually registers below just kicking you when you're down).
