A hexaflexagon is a geometric figure that can be folded in different ways to create what seems like a logic-defying amount of sides.

In case you were wondering, the hexaflexagon was invented in 1939 by Princeton graduate student Arthur H. Stone. The British scholar studying in the States had to trim down his American-sized paper to fit inside his English notebook. He folded up the leftover strips of paper, and tah-dah, the first hexaflexagon was born.
