TSA Instagrams Dangerous Confiscated Objects

The Transportation Security Administration, more commonly known as the TSA, is not exactly the most popular government agency.

Sometimes, the TSA is just an easy target -- nobody likes to take off his shoes and belt and undergo an intrusive pat-down when he has to catch a plane. And the TSA's controversial body scanners, which some call Rapiscans, have been the ire of weary travelers for years.

Now, get ready for an healthy dose of Lo-Fi and Kelvin-filtered photos of guns, knives and grenades. Last week, the TSA launched an Instagram account to share artsy pictures of dangerous objects confiscated at airport checkpoints.

The TSA launched a blog in 2008, where the agency posted picture of confiscated prohibited items every week. But on Instagram, the photos come with hashtag-heavy captions.
