The Transportation Security Administration, more commonly known as the TSA, is not exactly the most popular government agency.
Sometimes, the TSA is just an easy target -- nobody likes to take off his shoes and belt and undergo an intrusive pat-down when he has to catch a plane. And the TSA's controversial body scanners, which some call Rapiscans, have been the ire of weary travelers for years.
Now, get ready for an healthy dose of Lo-Fi and Kelvin-filtered photos of guns, knives and grenades. Last week, the TSA launched an Instagram account to share artsy pictures of dangerous objects confiscated at airport checkpoints.
The TSA launched a blog in 2008, where the agency posted picture of confiscated prohibited items every week. But on Instagram, the photos come with hashtag-heavy captions.
