Although we didn't give the software a particularly enthusiastic review, Mac users who wanted to test Adesso Tubes, the peer to peer file sharing and social networking application, can now do so.

Today the virtualization service Parallels, together with Adesso, announced that Mac users can now run Parallels using Parallels Desktop for Mac.

Obviously it's still the same old Windows app, but Parallels lets the software run on the Mac desktop (and saves Adesso a bunch of work). The two companies also posted a video (below) to show Tubes running on Parallels. The software is pretty good if you need a file sharing solution, but we're generally skeptical about whether desktop apps can grow at the same rate as web-based applications.
