Left with no other options, Hamit Işık, the manager for the Turkish soccer club Çorum Belediyespor, was forced to watch his team's playoff game from the comfort of a crane after being banned from the stadium.

The Telegraph reports that Işık's 9-month ban was the consequence of a temper tantrum with a referee. Additionally, the entire stadium was shut down for the day due to an unruly crowd at a prior match, forcing the playoff game to go on without spectators. Altogether, the infractions cost the team 33,500 Lira, which converts to about $13,000 USD.

Turkey's Hurriyet Daily News captured this video of the coach watching from his elevated perch.

Although fans were not allowed inside the stadium, they watched on a massive screen outside that was installed by the team's management. The game, against Darıca Gençlerbirliği, ended in a scoreless tie.
