A Turkish Airlines plane skidded off the runway early Wednesday morning local time as it attempted to land at an airport in Kathmandu, Nepal after being held up by severe fog in the area.
Flight TK726, an Airbus 330, overshot the runway at Tribhuvan International Airport before landing. All 240 passengers onboard the plane, which landed nose down, were evacuated and there have been no reports of injuries so far.
One Instagram video from Peter Lubeck, who was on the plane, shared from the crash site showed an eerie scene as passengers evacuated the plane in a gray, misty fog.
