TurnHere, the online video platform that creates and distributes videos for various brands and networks, is creating another vertical network of its own. Having already established a video network for books (called Bookvideos.tv), TurnHere is looking to another specialty of its own in order to create a video network for travel.

The new site will be called TurnHereTravel.tv, and will help visitors find accommodations, info about travel destinations, and a firsthand view about travel destinations. Featured videos include those from one of TurnHere's clients, the Hawaii Visitors & Convention Bureau, and from other content providers. As you may recall, TurnHere has a sort of an outsourcing model that looks to independent content producers in order to supplement some of its content.

In doing so, TurnHere can gather localized video content, and can also offer such services to its clients, such as the Yellow Pages. As with most of TurnHere's content, clips displayed on TurnHereTravel.tv will be syndicated across video networks, and accessible through social networking sites such as Facebook.
