Dukes of Hazzard fans are going to have to get their fix somewhere other than TV Land.

The network announced Wednesday that it has pulled reruns of the show from its lineup -- a move that comes as controversy around the use of the Confederate flag, which is prominently featured on the show's iconic car, reaches previously unseen levels in wake of the South Carolina shooting that claimed nine lives.

TV Land confirmed the lineup switch to Mashable, but declined to elaborate on the reason for the move.

Just last week, Warner Bros. consumer products division joined a host of other companies in choosing to forego selling products featuring the Confederate flag, which included replicas and vehicle model kits based on Dukes of Hazzard.

CMT previously also aired episodes of the series, which was produced from 1979-85, but it has been off the channel's schedule for several weeks. There are no more episodes currently scheduled to air.
