Here's how it works: Interested parties visit the Tweet Wrap site, where they pick a design and choose some tweets. Site users are given the option to share what their custom wrapping paper looks like via Facebook and Twitter; they can also print or download their creations.
Those interested in winning the laptop can unlock the contest — the work of Boosted by Samsung and Intel — via Samsung's Boosted Facebook tab. The contest, which is only open to those 18 and older in the U.S., has been open as of Monday afternoon and will last through 2:59 p.m. ET on January 10, 2011.
This isn't the first social media or tech-related attempt at sprucing up holiday wrapping paper — just days ago, we learned about QRAPPING PAPER, wrapping paper printed with QR codes that can help pull up holiday-themed YouTube videos. One can only wonder what might be next.
