It seems that vampires really are immortal.

Lionsgate is planning to revive Twilight as a series of short films on Facebook, according to a new report in the New York Times.

The studio is planning five films, each of which focuses on Twilight characters, to debut exclusively on Facebook in 2015. A panel of judges, including actress Kristen Stewart and Twilight author Stephenie Meyer, will select five female directors to head the films.

Fans will have a chance to vote (on Facebook, of course) for their favorite film. Just don’t expect Edward or Bella to make an appearance; original cast members probably won’t be involved in the new films.

This isn't the first time Lionsgate has transformed a movie to live on social media. The studio's ads for the film Divergent were in Facebook’s very first wave of autoplay video ads.

Lionsgate promises to reveal more details for Twilight fans on Tongal.
