All is once again right in the world of Twin Peaks.
After announcing last month that he was exiting the revival in the works at Showtime, creator David Lynch has announced he's back on board the project, which will move forward as planned on the network.
Dear Twitter Friends, the rumors are not what they seem ..... It is !!! Happening again. #TwinPeaks returns on @SHO_Network— David Lynch (@DAVID_LYNCH) May 16, 2015
Well, sort of as planned. The twist? The revival will now be more than the previously announced nine episodes and Lynch will be directing every episode.
Exactly how many episodes of the revival was not made clear in the statements released by Showtime and Lynch late Friday.

Lynch's rejoining comes after weeks of campaigning by fans and the show's alums, who pleaded with Lynch and the network to work out their contractual differences, which had put the revival, announced back in October, on hold.
In April, Lynch announced via Twitter that he was stepping away from the negotiation table, adding later in a statement that he was leaving because "not enough money was offered to do the script the way I felt it needed to be done."
Later that day, Showtime said they were holding out hope that they would be able to "bring [Twin Peaks] back in all its glory with both of its extraordinary creators, David Lynch and Mark Frost, at its helm."
Sources inside the network, too, seemed never to lose hope that all would work out in the end.
Lynch's intension to depart the project, meanwhile, kickstarted a wave of fan reactions, with most echoing Showtime's hopes that all parties would reach a resolution.
The series cast also started their own #SaveTwinPeaks campaign and released a video in support of Lynch.
Star Kyle MacLachlan, who officially boarded the project in January, largely remained mum during the past month, but happily took to Twitter with a joyful message following the good news.
"Welcome back again," he wrote on Twitter.
