Using your Twitter API, the app looks up who you follow, your timeline, and what tweets you've favorited. It takes all of the information, then matches you with who you "love" on the social network for Valentine's Day.

"This year I vowed to get it up and running in time for Valentine's Day," says creator and UX designer Lee Munroe. "It's really fairly simple, but I still spent a few late nights getting it working in time. I'm more a designer than a developer."

The app launched on Friday, and has since matched more than 100,000 users. Munroe says its received a better reaction on Twitter than he expected, but there are likely a lot of users receiving equally embarassing results. The designer assures all of it is in good fun.

Because celebrities are so prominent on the social network, another thing users are having fun with the app is seeing who the stars match up with. Munroe says there have been some interesting celebrity match-making.

"A lot of celebs tend to 'love' themselves," says Munroe. "@jimmyfallon has a thing for Michelle Obama, @MittRomney has a thing for Barack Obama and @Scobleizer loves Leo Laporte."

When waiting for your results, fun facts display on the screen, such as "Dating specialists suggest that if a woman doesn’t return a call after two messages, she is not interested."
