The account, @newlywedsontjob, carries the description: "V proud to have been best man for my best mate. He made me SWEAR no pranks before wedding. They’re back from honeymoon soon, which is AFTER the wedding, right?"

Choice Tweets include:

"They’re on the job! #2 - Action commenced at 15.50GMT. Weight: 151KG."

"They’re off the job! #2 – Action concluded at 16.12GMT. Duration: 22 m.05 s. Frenzy Index: 4 (easy listening). Judge’s Comment: "Good work!""

The Full Story

The other Tweets tell the full story:

I was recently asked to be best man to my best mate in the world. The one condition was my mate made me swear – NO jokes before the wedding.

So on his stag-do, the night before the wedding+even in my speech I was on my best behaviour, but everyone had a great time so job done.

I volunteered to check in on their house while they're on honeymoon + 1 day I thought – “Technically, this is AFTER the wedding, right?”

So here’s the thing: The newlywed’s marital bed now has a pressure-sensitive pad underneath which now tweets every time they get on the job.

You’ll know when it starts, when it ends, the force, a rating on the frenzy index and a judge’s comment -- all broadcast live to Twitter.

This almost sounds too funny to be true, except that the prankster claims to have used the same technology already developed for the Twittering office chair -- this actually seems feasible.

Will you be following the Tweeting bed? And do you think the prank is on the couple or us? Let us know in the comments.
