Twitter's Chief Financial Officer is not good at Twitter.

CFO Anthony Noto had his Twitter account compromised on Tuesday, inadvertently showing how vulnerable user accounts can be on the social network. There's no official word on exactly how it happened, but the executive appears to have clicked on a spam link.

Over the course of a few minutes, Noto's account replied to dozens of users with spam messages like "This pic of you is funny lol" and "I can't stop laughing," all of which were followed by the same suspicious link.

About 20 minutes after the torrent of tweets began, Twitter reps acknowledged Noto's account had been compromised. The company deleted the spam tweets and very briefly locked the account.

Noto was hired as CFO in July -- and a few months later suffered a brutal direct message fail that appeared to hint at Twitter's plans to try acquiring a company.
