Writers, it might be time to put down your pens and pick up your keyboards -- The #TwitterFiction festival is back!

Hosted by Penguin Random House, The Association of American Publishers and Twitter, the festival is a week-long celebration of digital storytelling. From May 11 - May 15, more than 20 authors, including Margaret Atwood, Lemony Snicket and Celeste Ng, have signed up to share new, original stories, one tweet at a time.

In addition to some of your favorite authors, the #TwitterFiction Festival is also honoring new writers. A panel of judges have selected 24 stories submitted by aspiring authors to feature throughout the week.

You can join the fun too! Throughout the week, you can share your own stories on Twitter with the hashtag #TwitterFiction. There's also a live celebration on May 13 for book lovers in the New York City area.

You can learn more about the festival and see the lineup of participating authors here. Happy writing!
