Something wicked this way comes... on Twitter.

MashableReads is teaming up with Penguin Teen to find the best scary stories on Twitter as part of Penguin Teen's Wicked Reads campaign.

[seealso slug="horror-story-tips"]

For one week leading up to Halloween, we’re asking followers, readers and the book community to tell a scary story in under 140 characters, using the hashtag #TwitterGhostStory. One lucky storyteller will win a collection of Penguin Teen's wickedest reads.

Just remember to use the hashtag, along with #sweepstakes, and tweet your best short-form horror between now and Halloween. You can find full contest rules on Penguin Teen's Facebook page.
