Twitter unveiled its first app designed specifically for Android tablets last week. But a new feature -- the ability to draw or doodle within a tweet -- was overshadowed in the announcement.
Twitter's blog post that mentioned the new drawing feature left much to be desired about its functionality, but that changed on Wednesday when the company released a Vine video showing off the new illustrated tweet feature. The video shows an artist creating a colorful image of San Francisco's Golden Gate Bridge.

Samsung's Galaxy Note 10.1-2014 Edition is the only tablet that currently works with Twitter's app. So it's only appropriate that the tech company tweeted out a picture that it drew using the app:

The new Twitter drawings provide users with a little more room for creativity on the platform. It may also increase the number of images shared on the site, which in turn could increase engagement; tweets including images are retweeted more frequently than those without.
