Twitter is about to get a lot more opinionated.

Polls, which were previously only available to a limited number of Twitter's users, will soon be available to all, the company announced.

UPDATE, Oct. 30: Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey announced in a tweet that the polling feature is now officially open to all Twitter users.

It should show up as one of your options when you compose a tweet in Twitter's iOS and Android apps and on Twitter's website.

"For poll creators, it’s a new way to engage with Twitter’s massive audience and understand exactly what people think," product manager Todd Sherman writes in a statement. For those participating, it’s a very easy way to make your voice heard."

Each poll will be open for 24 hours. Polls are limited to two choices for now. Sherman notes that users will not know who voted or how others voted in their polls, though participants can view the results after the votes are in.
