Keiran? Kieran? What's the difference? Well, a career in pornography for one.

In an attempt to verify the Twitter account of pornstar Keiran Lee, the social media giant messed up their 'e's and 'i's and, instead, gave everyday guy Kieran Lee a taste of Twitter fame.

So @twitter just verified the wrong guy. I hope they let @KieranLee keep it. pic.twitter.com/UC1FeJJCfH— Rupert Myers (@RupertMyers) January 26, 2016

Kieran responded with the appropriate level of confusion and excitement.

Am verified haha— kieran (@KieranLee) January 26, 2016

Adult film performer Keiran Lee wasn't a spoiled sport about it at all. Instead, he seemed rather supportive.

@falken1974 @KieranLee @verified - ha ha lucky fella— Keiran Lee (@KeiranLee) January 26, 2016

Unfortunately though, fame was brief for the ice hockey fan from Edinburgh.

Aw unverified again, fame was good whilst it lasted— kieran (@KieranLee) January 26, 2016

So here's to all the dreamers out there -- as long as you kinda share a name with a pornstar, you, too, may get verified. It just won't last very long.
