Today’s deals follow a string of other recent activity from Twitter’s business development team. In addition to the earlier deal with Bell Mobility, Twitter was also able to bring SMS to some UK users through a deal with Vodafone.
In a blog post this afternoon, Twitter’s Biz Stone notes that we can expect more deals, as the company is “working on the rest of the world right now.” Some Canadian users probably hope that includes Telus, a carrier that is yet to reach a deal with Twitter.
