Multimedia support is just one feature that makes Twitterrific stand out among iPad Twitter apps -- and one feature that will likely keep Twitterrific in many users' hearts in the event that Twitter releases an official iPad app, as well.

The app already includes features such as filters, retweets, link shortening, e-mail and tweet translation. It also allows users to manage multiple accounts with an upgrade.

New capabilities with version 1.1 include support for picture and video uploading, support for custom upload services, and the inclusion of image URL shorteners from img.ly and Tweetphoto. Additionally, the app now uses OAuth and includes a default "reply all" feature.

What do you think of these new functions? If you're an iPad owner, what app or apps do you use to access Twitter, and what features do you rely on most?
