TxtDrop, the service that lets you send text messages from the web, is now launching a free text messaging application for the iPhone.
This is among the first services of its kind, letting users send free text messages to mobile phones in the US and Canada. The service and its interface has been optimized for the iPhone, with a focus on screen size availability with the touch-screen keyboard. Users can both send and receive messages with this service, and messages are sent to a user's email address. TextDrop had done well to offer its service in as many places as possible, from its widget offering to its availability on Mac OS X or Vista desktop.
