U2 has already live-streamed parts of its Innocence and Experience tour on the Internet. So it's only fitting that the band is also bringing the event to your home box office.

U2 is teaming up with HBO to premiere two exclusive specials this November.

You may not have been a fan of that time the band infiltrated your iPhone -- but this time, the documentaries presumably won't be automatically loaded into your HBO queue.

Instead, the specials will be available on HBO Go and HBO Now in addition to premiering on the pay cable channel itself.

First, HBO will air a behind-the-scenes documentary featuring a novel look at how the Innocence and Experience tour was conceptualized. The tour has already included live-feeds via Meerkat and two-sided displays to maximize audience enjoyment -- so it should be interesting to learn how it all came together.

The documentary contains interviews with all four members of U2 -– Bono, The Edge, Adam Clayton and Larry Mullen Jr. -– as well as their crew, and explores the band's challenges leading up to the tour. (Bono had recently suffered from a bike accident in New York City.)

The second special will feature the concert performance itself, and will air a week after the documentary. According to a press release, the performance will move through the venue via multiple stages, and includes a floor-to-ceiling arena-length LED screen that you won't have to see in person to enjoy.

“U2 continues to take risks, which has made them one of the most consistently exciting forces in rock’n’roll,” HBO Programming president Michael Lombardo said in a statement.

“The one-two combination of this documentary special, followed by the concert, will provide viewers with the ultimate look at this remarkable band behind the scenes and on the stage.”

The documentary will premiere on HBO as well as its streaming services, HBO Go and HBO Now, on November 7 of this year, with the concert performance to follow on November 14.
