Uber, "The Visual Index," has quietly launched several new features this week, all with an eye towards enhancing the users experience.
The Visual Index is a catalog of what is considered to be the best Uber pages of those that have been saved. Add in the newly added voting function and users can influence what is considered the best pages on the site. You can also now sign up to be notified when friends in your network add new media to their account. The tagweighting system is also new and allows users to give weight to certain tags that mean the most to them when they set up their account.
In the coming weeks, users can also expect Uber to add authoring tools for creation of full websites, a message board for each page, and the ability to swap modules that allow for collaborative galleries of videos and photos.
