LONDON — 2015 was a turbulent year, but also a year where people in the UK showed great humanity and did amazing things. From the fight for marriage equality in Northern Ireland to the rush to help people affected by the floods after Storm Desmond, people across the country made a difference throughout the year. There were no shortage of inspirational individuals either. Here are some of the defining moments and people of the last 12 months.
