Uncooped is a new social network for people that like adventures. This site was created by the same team that made Curbly, a network for home living and design. The setup is very similar to Curbly, and revolves around the collective stories of the users.
Create your own string of articles that chronicle your adventures. Add images to your stories, and share them with the community. Now others can read and learn from your experiences. As with Curbly, there's a mix of user-generated content and premium content, which gives users nice options to hear two types of first-hand knowledge.
Uncooped doesn't yet have the breadth of premium writers that Curbly has established, but it's on the way. This will be important as Uncooped is also a place for you to get advice from experts on a variety of adventure-related topics.
Uncooped's network includes a How-to section, a Q&A board, information on Gear, and a section where the most popular content is promoted from within the community. Most sites that have a similar premise as Uncooped are travel sites with sections for adventure, but Uncooped has taken a niche and created a blogging community around it.
