Back on April 24th we told you that Buzzd had received a round of series A funding, and we even knew who had been involved in the funding, but no one knew how much the amount was. Well, thanks to PE Hub we now know it was $3 million according to their regulatory filing.
The question has to be asked why they felt the need to conceal the amount of the funding? Around Mashable we get notices every day of how much funding a company receives, and usually they are waving it around like a trophy, but not this time. Were they ashamed of the size of their funding? Did no one ever tell them, "It's not the size of your long-tail, it's how you use it."?
