Maybe you’ve given an online college fair a look. Well, now you might be seeking employment post diploma grab. If so, an online job fair may be your next logical step.
Unisfair, a developer of virtual event services for individual business gatherings and industrial conferences, recently launched an option for corporate recruiters to find prospective employees and interact live, according to Dean Takahashi of VentureBeat. Unisfair is sensing that job fairs will attract a sizable number of visitors seeking work, if for nothing else than user convenience. So far, Unisfair, which earlier this year raised some $10 million in its third investment round, has managed to serve some 400 events to various customers, including tech titans like Cisco and IBM. That is a fairly significant number, to be sure, but the company is no doubt looking to branch out with more options to attract more business, whether in the form of unique, one-party contracts or with many customers.
