The University of Kentucky is known for its successful sports program, most notably the basketball and football teams. Now the football program has launched #Weareuk, a crowdsourced initiative that places tweets on billboards and puts fans in the official poster.
Anyone who uses the #Weareuk hashtag will have their tweet or Instagram photo linked to the site. From there anything posted can, and many already have been, used in billboards across the state.
Visitors to the site also have the option to share any of the posts via Facebook or Twitter. Once shared, their their avatar will drop into the background of the site.
