Microsoft probably hates IE6 as much as the rest of us, but they have vowed to continue support until the end of its life cycle, around 2012. Still, that doesn't mean they don't want to get IE6 users to upgrade.
Their latest (and newly extended) promotion involves donating 16 meals for every user who upgrades from IE6 to IE8 during Hunger Action Month, which starts tomorrow:
