NEW YORK -- To steal a lyric from Usher, these are my confessions: The fur cap he wore Monday is giving the hat Pharrell famously donned last month at the Grammy Awards a run for its money.
During a panel in New York City for NBC's The Voice, which returns for its sixth season Monday night, Usher walked in as a surprise guest, while sporting the headgear.

Using Mashable's Snapchat account, visual storyteller Dasha Battelle took the liberty to draw some quirky objects on Usher, who is a judge on The Voice. Here are her creations:
The Voice creator Mark Burnett and host Carson Daly poked fun at the 35-year-old singer's fashion accessory, even drawing comparisons to Pharrell's viral look.
"Davy, Davy Crockett," Usher said when asked what message he's sending with his cap.
Daly joked that while Arby's restaurant chain thought Pharrell's hat resembled the company's logo, Usher's topper does indeed look similar to frontiersman Davy Crockett's coonskin cap.

When Mashable asked Pharrell for his response to Arby's tweet on Grammy night, he said, "It's cool, man. Thank you. I appreciate it." He added, "It's a buffalo hat ... I just liked it."
Pharrell's hat is currently being auctioned on eBay for charity for more than $14,000.
