Know a special lady or gent who's super into lyrics (and coding)? Well, here's a little music hack that you can employ to crash the server that is his/her heart.

Created at Music Hack Day in New York City by Last.fm's Mark Levy, /a/valentine/for/you isn't the most sophisticated of concoctions, but it's certainly quirky. Basically, you enter the following URL into your browser, http://baseonmars.co.uk:9999/a/valentine/for/joanna, substituting "Joanna" with the name of your sweetheart (Joanna is Levy's wife).

The hack then uses the musiXmatch API to look for lyrics containing your swain's name, then searches for those songs in Last.fm and sorts out which ones are romantic enough for a Valentine's Day mix. Romantic songs are added to the Valentine as playable MP3s, which will kick in once you have a long enough playlist.
