NEW YORK — Dressing for a date is difficult any night of the week, but for Valentine's Day the pressure is even greater. Of course you want to up your style game. But besides sexiness and romance, it's about effortlessness, to avoid looking like you put too much time and thought into your outfit. And let's not forget the obvious conundrum: Is red and pink festive or just plain tacky?
